Petteo Ragdoll Adoption Process
Each kitten is raised with patience, care, and close observation.
At Petteo, our adoption process is designed to be clear, fair, and respectful to both our kittens and their future families.
1. Reservation & Deposit
Families may reserve a place on our waiting list with a non-refundable deposit.
Reservation priority is based strictly on the order deposits are received. Deposits are placed toward a specific pairing and cannot be changed or transferred.

Each kitten is carefully observed as they grow, allowing us to guide families toward the best possible match.
This process ensures clarity, fairness, and thoughtful placement for all families.
2. Kitten Selection
Selection is guided by temperament, not speed.
Kittens may be selected from 8–9 weeks of age.
Families with a reservation will be invited to choose first, in deposit order Selection is guided by temperament, development, and family preference Each kitten is individually observed to help ensure the best possible match. Some families prefer not to reserve in advance. We may also have available kittens outside of reserved pairings, depending on timing and availability. These are offered on a first-come basis.
3. Preparation for New Homes
Our kittens remain with us until they are fully ready to transition.
Kittens usually go to their new homes at around 4 months of age
Timing depends on:
Healthy weight Neutering/spaying Full recovery and emotional readiness
We do not rush this stage, as it is essential for long-term well-being.
4. Going Home
Before leaving, each kitten will have:
Neutered / spayed
Vaccinations appropriate for age
Veterinary health checks
Microchip (where applicable)
Early socialisation and home-based care
Families will receive guidance to ensure a smooth and confident transition.

All prices displayed on our website refer to pet-quality kittens sold as companions (neutered/spayed).

Conditions of Petteo Radgoll sale
Refund Policy of Petteo Ragdoll
“All payment is non-refundable including shipping fees, any money paid beyond the deposit amount toward kitten purchase price or for other related services and supplies. In terms of returned kittens, all shipping fees, medical treatment costs and service costs (including but not limited to additional delivery fees) are the responsibility of the Purchaser and will not be credited toward the new kitten which could be selected. Notification of intention to return the kitten must be received in writing within 72 hours of receipt and kitten must be returned to Seller within ten (10) calendar days or receipt or no credit toward replacement kitten will be given and Purchaser waives Seller of all responsibility to replace kitten unless a genetic issue is identified by Purchaser’s veterinarian within 2 years (730 days) of the date of this contract.”
At this time, I do not offer any sort of refunds. Please read this policy carefully before paying a deposit.
Other Pets Policy
“The seller is not responsible for any injury or illness to other pets caused by exposure to it.”
If you have other pets, I suggest slowly introducing your new kitten to them. Keep a watchful eye to make sure they don’t harm each other.
Health Guarantee section of Petteo Ragdoll
“If this kitten dies within 2 years of date of sale/delivery due to an inherited genetic disease, Purchaser must inform Seller in writing and provide a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian- this must be done. Seller will replace said kitten with another kitten of equal or lesser value selected by the Purchaser. No price difference(s) will be refunded or applied to kitten shipping or toward another kitten. All shipping costs and medical costs are the responsibility of the Purchaser. No refunds, discounts or credits will be given.
Seller- Petteo Ragdoll guarantees that this cat/kitten is healthy to the best of her knowledge. This cat/kitten is guaranteed for 72 hours against but not limited to the following ailments: upper respiratory infection, internal and external parasites, and against FELV / FiV.
Purchaser has 72 hours to take the kitten to the veterinarian for a health exam. If any health concerns are found, the veterinarian’s documentation must be documented and provided, The Purchaser can return the kitten to the Seller within seven (7) calendar days of the examination of the kitten. No medical or travel expenses will be refunded or credited on returned kittens and replacement kitten shipping is the responsibility of the Purchaser.“
This outlines my 2 year health guarantee against inherited genetic diseases. This also details my 72 hour health guarantee against other ailments. I highly recommend to take your cat/kitten to the vet within the 72 hour period.
My goal is continually produce healthy kittens. Please inform me if your cat/kitten develops any health issues. I will try to be as helpful, quick responding and accommodating as possible.
Indoor Only Requirement
Ragoll cat/kitten will be kept indoors and will not be allowed to roam freely outdoors.”
Ragdolls are typically not fighters. They should not be allowed outside unless supervised.
Declaw Policy of Petteo Ragdoll
“The Purchaser agrees this kitten is not to be declawed or all health guarantees are voided. Petteo Reagdoll Cattery feels this surgery is very inhumane and does not agree with this practice.”
DO NOT declaw you cat/kitten. If for some reasons do , all health guarantees outlined above will be voided.
Concerns/Complaints Policy of Petteo Ragdoll
“Purchaser fully understands that if there are any issues with this kitten, Petteo Ragdoll Seller should be immediately notified in writing by email. Purchaser should make every effort to keep Petteo Ragdoll Seller informed of issues and work with the Petteo Ragdoll Seller to resolve any issue.
If you ever have any concerns or complaints, please reach out to me via email. I truly want to help resolve any issues you may have.
Pet vs. Breeder Cat Policy
“If this cat/kitten is purchased as a pet, it is agreed that the seller will have the kitten altered before the take home date.
If this cat/kitten is sold with the understanding that it will be used breeding purposes. Seller guarantees that said animal is fertile and will produce at least 2 viable kittens before the age of three years. If after 3 breeding attempts with at least two different proven breeder cats, no pregnancy occurs, then said animal will be replaced by the seller.”
All kittens will be neutered/spayed before leaving my home unless they are bought for breeding purposes.
